ORLANDO, FL, August 18, 2020 – PT Genie has hired Winter Springs resident, Tracie Jones as their Network Contractor. PT Genie is a digital health company that is advancing the field of physical therapy through its patented motion sensor device and software that keeps patients connected to their providers while they exercise safely at home.
In this role, Tracie will be responsible for working with various health plan networks around the country to obtain and close contracts as well as build preferred partnerships with payers, specifically focused on obtaining capitated agreements.
“Tracie has worked with some of the largest national payers to build networks, develop partnerships, and negotiate agreements. She will be an asset to PT Genie as we look to obtain agreements with payers and dominate the healthcare technology industry” said Reuben Gobezie, MD, Co-Founder and CEO, PT Genie.
Prior to joining PT Genie, Tracie spent 25 years with both providers and payers building new networks and contracting with Government programs, Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Workers Compensation and Value Based Services. Tracie has extensive experience with new program implementations and has a strong understanding of how important change is in order to create streamlined processes for healthcare delivery.

PT Genie is a wearable device that keeps patients connected with their physical therapist when doing exercises from home. The patient wears small sensors while they exercise that send data back to the therapist to monitor progress and help when needed. Through an interactive, virtual reality avatar on a tablet, patients are guided to perform exercises correctly. It provides real-time feedback and an ongoing connection between patient and therapist to ensure the patient is successfully recovering.
Tracie earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Medical Coder/Proctor. She also has her Healthcare Management certification as well her Florida Risk Management certification.
