This policy describes how PT Genie, LLC (“PT GENIE”) collects information about you, how that information is used and shared, and your abilities to access your personal information.
What information does PT GENIE collect about me?
If you create an account with PT GENIE, you may share information such as your name, e-mail address, phone number, and gender. If you enter information on our website or any application, we receive and store that information.
When you use PT GENIE services, you may create and store information in our application and/or website. For example, we may store information about the exercise programs you are completing, such as the exercises you have performed, your progress, and/or pain that you have identified.
In addition, we may record your voice under limited circumstances when you are using the PT GENIE application. When you are using the PT GENIE application to perform an exercise involving a sensor (and only when you are using the PT GENIE application), your tablet’s microphone will be listening to audio to determine when you identify that you are ready to perform an exercise. The microphone will be activated during the time the particular exercise involving a sensor begins until you say the word “ready,” indicating that you are positioned to begin the exercise. The microphone will then be deactivated until you proceed to the next exercise involving a sensor. (You can opt out of this feature on the application if you prefer not to advance to exercises using voice activation, but this will require you to press a button on the tablet screen.)
Like many websites, we use “cookies” and obtain certain types of information when you interact with our services and website. Cookies allow us to recognize your device and personalize your experience, but many internet browsers have options to prevent them from accepting new cookies. If you have questions about cookies, we recommend that you consult with your internet service provider.
